TV Junkie: Guidovision Update; IMDb's STARmeter Rankings

Robert Pattinson tops IMDb's STARmeter list for 2009. In a couple years you won't believe it was possible.
As we surmised in the TV Junkie last week, MTV has removed the footage of a man punching a young woman in the face in their show "Jersey Shore" aka Guidovision after milking the shock value of the clip in promo after promo for the show. Ain't that classy? Some folks really love this show and some folks really love to rubberneck at gory traffic accidents, sometimes we think these are the same folks.

Frequent users/abusers/addicts of The Internet Movie Database might be aware of IMDb's STARmeter which tracks the popularity of all the actors, writers, etc. in the database based upon the activity of IMDb's 57+ million monthly users. The website has published the Top 100 STARmeter ranked individuals for 2009 with a comparison to the 2008 list. Here's our interview with #39, Kellan Lutz.
