NBC's "Trauma", like a Monty Python sketch, ain't dead yet according to Chuck Barney at the Contra Costa Times. After trimming it's production costs the producers were given the green light to make 3 more episodes. We like the show (it's on the TV Junkie Plan tonight at 9pm) because: it's the only medical drama series with some action/cajones on TV right now; it's shot in our onetime home of SF and that location has become a character in the show; and it stars the talented and lovely Anastasia Griffith whom we interviewed at the Emmys and also a couple years ago about her work on FX's "Damages".

It turns out that Leno isn't losing audience to other 10pm shows so much as he is losing out to people watching stuff on their Tivos and the stuff they're watching doesn't seem to be from NBC. Our interpretation is that this is so-so news for NBC's competitors and really bad news for Leno.
