"Sesame Street" is about to enter its 40th season and it's making us feel, well, all of our own 40 years. As a little TV Junkie we were plunked down in front of that show as soon as we could sit up and the power of this incredible show has stayed with us all these years. Characters from the show will be popping up all over the place this week, including co-hosting "Are You Smarter Than A 5th Grader?" on Monday, November 9th. The season premieres on Tuesday the 10th - and we can look forward to the following guests: Kobe Bryant, Greg Kinnear, Jake Gyllenhaal, Maggie Gyllenhaal, Cameron Diaz, Hugh Jackman, Debra Messing, Eva Longoria, Adrian Grenier, Julianna Marguiles, Judah Freidlander, Sarah Jessica Parker, Adam Sandler, Jimmy Fallon, Jenny Garth, Paul Rudd, Ricky Gervais, Patricia Arquette, Brendan Fraser, Matthew Fox, Christina Applegate, Debi Mazar and Cedric the Entertainer, Grammy Award winner Ziggy Marley and more (including the First Lady!).

This morning NPR's "Morning Edition" finally acknowledged that NBC has been suffering due to their "Jay Leno Show" strategy and asked host ofKCRW's "The Business", Kim Masters, to explain. On a related note, Comcast's quarterly profits rose 22% thus making it a bit easier to buy NBC Universal if it so chooses.

The series premiere of "V" has had excellent viewership and we're having a good discussion on yesterday's post. Please contribute: did you like it or not? What do you want to see happen?
