TV Junkie: 'Britz' Premiere & 'Dexter' Creator Appears on Camera Sunday
This Sunday night at 8pm brings the premiere of "Britz" (pictured, right) on BBC America. "Britz" is a thriller featuring two young British Muslims, each pulled in different directions by personal experiences in post 9/11 Britain. This drama asks (perhaps a year or two late) whether the laws we think are making us safer, are actually putting us in greater danger.
"Dexter" fans take note: the author who created the Dexter character, Jeff Lindsay, makes a cameo in Sunday's episode.
In other TV news, The Hollywood Reporter reports that a Belgian TV crew was assaulted while reporting on AIDS in China, and a German TV producer was killed in the Mumbai terrorist attacks on Wednesday.
