When it comes to Largo, now Largo at the Coronet, there's quite a number of hardcore fans. First, there was Fairfax-Avenue, a blog for Jon Brion who plays weekly at the space, which has now been turned into Largoverse, a blog that is "about the umbrella of artists that perform in a los angeles club called largo."

The latest news they're telling is of some secret, supposedly unannounced guests, that will appear with Maya Rudolph and Fred Armisen in a performance directed by Paul Thomas Anderson in early August. "All we'll say is this: trust us, you won't regret it," the reprinted e-mail says. Largo is known for often having suprise guests pop in "last minute." Fiona Apple and The Flight of the Conchords are the usual suspects. But this seems to be bigger, or at least something different.
