Tonight in Rock: Shwayze, Happy Hollows, Lukas Haas

One of the worst experiences as a "professional" extra in Hollywood was working on music videos. There's something that goes hand-in-hand about an industry that sues kids and grandmas for illegally downloading MP3s and not fully paying background talent for working on a music video because they "ran out of cash" (if you have any bad experiences, write them in the comments section).
With that said, local and Cisco Adler prodige Shwayze is filming a free music video/show at the Roxy tonight. And when helping out a local guy you're a fan of, it's really not bad. After all, you love him, right? Since debuting the catchy song, "Buzzin'," earlier this Winter (song embedded below), it has caught on with a lot of people, is now in a car commercial and MTV is filming a reality show called Buzzin' (we were on of the first to share the MP3 back in January).

In other news, 30 Seconds to Mars raised $10,000 this weekend by auctioning off time to spend with fans fixing up a house with Habitat for Humanity in Carson. It's genius -- they got people to pay to volunteer for a good cause. They even had one fan fly in from Vienna, Austria to work alongside them.
