Thoughts On A Saturday

Support your source for local news!
Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. The local news you read here every day is crafted for you, but right now, we need your help to keep it going. In these uncertain times, your support is even more important. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership. Thank you.

- 2 local acts to check out today: Sexy, electro-pop superstars (who recently got played on Pete Tong's BBC 1 Radio show) Taxi Doll at LA pride, and red headed, 22 year old, piano songstress A Fine Frenzy (who will be touring this summer with Rufus Wainwright) at the Viper Room.

- Holy hightops, Batman! Breakdancers in Hollywood? This is the best news of the day. This afternoon there will be a mighty battle between the best of the best of North American breakdancers. The Red Bull BC One Qualifier takes place at Thunderdome The Henry Fonda Theater from 3 -7p. Winners will be heading to the finals in South Africa this September. Expect a big crowd, guest dancers, celebrity judges, and I’m guessing tons of Red Bull..

- Harold and Maude at the cemetery.
