After Lindsay Lohan slammed into an 18-wheeler last month, she claimed that the brakes on her rental Porsche failed.

We're guessing that Porsche, like the rest of us who know about her bad driving record, was a little skeptical of her excuse (or maybe they were just worried about the bad publicity). The car manufacturer ended up calling the rental company to see if it could find any problems with the brakes of the car LiLo was driving.

So Porsche ran some tests on the brakes and found out that they weren't faulty at all and in fact passed with "flying colors," TMZ reports.

Lohan crashed her car at the time she was doing filming for the Lifetime movie "Liz & Dick," which stars Lohan as Elizabeth Taylor.
