Rock Songs: Our 'Levitated Mass' Playlist
Unless you've been living under, ahem, a rock, you've probably heard that Michael Heizer's 340-ton art project Levitated Mass opens to the public on Sunday morning at LACMA.
To commemorate the occasion, we've put together a playlist for the big boulder, selecting a baker's dozen as our Sunday morning soundtrack. Songs that made the cut include: "Rocks and Daggers" by Noah and the Whale; "Rock Your Socks" by Tenacious D; "Rock Your Body" by Justin Timberlake; "Party Rock Anthem" by LMFAO; "I Don't Wanna Rock" by Bowling for Soup (for all the haters out there); as well as oldies by Queen and Bob Dylan.
What would you add to the Levitated Mass playlist?
