Shepard Fairey has been keeping up a busy schedule. Last month he designed an invitation for an Occupy Wall Street party in Times Square, and today he unveiled a new Depression-themed poster that is supposed to go up for auction and raise money for homelessness.

Closer to home, Fairey is unveiling a new mural that wraps around the building at the Northwest corner of La Brea and 2nd Street tonight. LAist had a chance to pop over this afternoon (before it got too cloudy) where a crew was putting the finishing touches on the mural.

Just down the block, a pop-up gallery was prepping for a show where the work of Fairey and 10 other artists will be on display. We popped in just ahead of the show opening tonight to check out some of the work that will will be on display until November 26 at 161 S. La Brea Avenue.
