Country diva and Palm Springs native Shelby Lynne treated the folks in the audience for her show last night at Indio's Stagecoach Festival to an earful. But she wasn't serving up just the sweet sounds of her songs--she had an awful lot to say about how unhappy she was with the venue and the attendance.

"I love singing to empty seats," Lynne sarcastically said as she opened her set, remarking about the vacant chairs in the reserved section in front of the stage. As people took photos, she made an obscene gesture and spoke about the festival with expletives." [Press-Enterprise]

Lynne was on the Mane Stage at around 5 p.m. last night as part of day one of the three-day mostly country music festival that takes place using the same setup as last week's Coachella Festival in the same place. Other performers who followed Lynne on into the evening seemed to be enjoying themselves and mentioned while onstage that they liked the festival. The Stagecoach Festival continues through the weekend, meanwhile, we're on the lookout for video from Lynne's tirade. Did any of the few who braved her set get some footage? we've got a video of some of Lynne's thoughts after the jump.
