A group of musicians, including some from Prince's own band, got together Wednesday night to pay tribute to the late musician.

Respects were paid at Lucky Strike's SOUNDCHECK Live series in Hollywood Wednesday night. The weekly music event produced by Steve Ferlazzo, who plays keys for Avril Lavigne, brings together a number of musicians for a night of live music. This week's sold-out show saw fans dressed in purple sing along to Prince hits like "When Doves Cry" and "Purple Rain."

Musical guests included Prince's bassist Andrew Gouche and Vertical Horizon frontman Matt Scannell, while GNR's Gilby Clarke and Rage Against the Machine's Tom Morello were spotted in the audience. You can check out the complete set list at California Rock News here.
