Day 1 of KCON, the largest fan celebration of Korean pop culture in America, came and went yesterday with thousands of rabid fans of in attendance at the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena to gobble it all up. KCON calls itself "All Things Hallyu," and it lives up to that name with dozens of panels and workshops including "Cooking With A Korean Mom" and "Learn Korean Slang!"

Of course those are all good and fun, but the marquee event was the evening's K-pop concert and its stars. Last night's show was a boyband-heavy lineup that included K-pop stars B1A4, G-Dragon, IU, Teen Top, and VIXX.

KCON continues today, with undoubtedly more screaming fangirls and fanboys.
