Here's just a smattering of the Halloween-realted events going on about town tonight.

CARNIVAL: West Hollywood is doing its usual Halloween thing tonight. Get down there and count how many drag queens are donning the Sarah Palin this year.

GOTH PARTY: Head out to Spikes in Rosemead for a night of gothic/industrial tunes from DJ B@STARD and DJ Esser spinning the best of Dark 80's...The costume contest is at midnight. This event is only $5...and tons of free parking in a lot in the back, and cheap drink specials.

NATURAL HISTORY MUSEUM: Drop Dead Gorgeous party tonight at the Natural History Museum. It's a free party for the 21+ crowd who RSVP and get a confirmation back. Music by the Juan Maclean, Double Fisted, Underground, Darker MY Love, DJ Pube$, Cosmic Kids, Holy Ghost!, Classixx, Treasure Fingers.

VALLEY: Midnight Reign is hosting a party tonight at 11 pm at Weber's in Reseda. There's music by Mistress of Reality (Female Black Sabbath Tribute), Spiders and Snakes and Rock Bottom (UFO Tribute) and free stuff from the Hollywood Rx Records. Festivities begin at 9 pm.

DRINK SPECIAL: The Edison's Halloween party features an open absinthe bar from 8-10 pm and live entertainment from Lucent Dossier Vaudeville Cirque and music. The tickets are $45 at the door and $50 without a costume.

BURLESQUE: The 2nd annual PSYCHOSEXORAMA! at Mr T's Bowl tonight. Vixen Magdalene Burlesque will be at Mr T's Bowl performing in between music sets by Rover's Pinky, Strangely Attractive, Buffalo Eye and Bastidas.

VINTAGE: Cicada is hosting a "Vintage" party. You must wear formal wear or
a pre-1950s costume. For $40, you'll get Dean Mora's 20-piece dance orchestra and big band favorites from the 1930's and 1940's featuring vocalists Kayre Morrison and Damon Kirsche with a spooktacular floor show featuring the Satin Dollz Pin Up Dancers.

NO COVER: Liquid Kitty's hosting a Halloween Party. And they won't charge and arm and a leg to get in. There's killer drinks and a costume contest at midnight.

COSTUME BALLS: If your Halloween's worth a $1,000 check out The Girls Next Door without den mother Holly watching over at the Playboy Mansion's Kandy Halloween.

HAUNTED MANSE: Killer electronic acts Simian Mobile Disco and Crystal Castles bring the beats to HARD Haunted Mansion at the Shrine Expo Hall.

EROTIC: Costumes are always on the erotic side at the 21st Annual Halloween Masquerade and Costume Ball at The Music Box, this year celebrating the 30th anniversary of Halloween the Movie.

HOTEL HALLOWEEN: Custom Hotel is throwing a Halloween bash with Veuve Clicquot Yellow Label, complete with British magician to the stars Alex Ward. DJ Daisy O'Dell will be spinning and the hotel will be transformed into a spooky funhouse. The bar will feature "7 Deadly Sins" themed cocktails and there will be free hors d'oeuvres until 10 pm. Guests who get rooms at the hotel for the evening receive a complimentary bottle of Veuve Clicquot.

MOVIES: At the Egyptian is a Dusk-to-Dawn Horrorthon with Santa Sangre, Pieces, Scream...and Die!, Atom Age Vampire, Night of the Bloody Apes and Burial Ground. The movies begin at 7:30 pm tonight.
