First Fridays
Get out with the neighborhood this summer night in Long Beach or Venice where First Friday events are being held. In Long Beach, find your way to the Bixby Knolls are for some food, art and more. Along Abbot Kinney in Venice, much of the same is happening plus activities down a the boardwalk.

Shakespeare by the Sea
Premiering tonight and running through August 1st, Shakespeare Unscripted is a different show every night. "Using only their guts, wits and suggestions from the audience, Impro Theatre creates a completely original story for each performance. Monarchs, spirits, warriors, lovers, fools or clowns - no one knows what role he, or she, may be asked to play when stepping out to improvise." Find it in San Pedro at the Little Fish Theatre.

Random Puppet Shows
If you're lucky you might catch Joel Kyack's Superclogger on eastbound 10 Freeway starting at 4 p.m. today. The roving puppet show that will appear out of a white pickup truck will start its journey at the PCH until it hits downtown Los Angeles. If you see it, tune your radio to 89.5 FM.

A Fourth Spectacular
Tonight kicks off three nights at the Hollywood Bowl in celebration of the Fourth of July. It's all about music, friends, wine and fireworks. A limited amount of tickets are still available.
