Many of us have the day off for President's Day, and we found a number of great events starting on the early side today. On the short list: a Target Free Holiday Monday at LACMA, a Looney Toons fest, The Benson Interruption, music for a school night and Pete Wentz reading of his new novel. Read on for all the details.

It’s a Target Free Holiday Monday at LACMA beginning at 11 am. It’s a free day at the museum with bilingual tours, free programs, art-making activities, and live Americana, gospel and banjo music by Triple Chicken Foot at 12:30 and 2:45 pm. A free, general admission ticket required to take advantage of the free day. The special free price does not include admission to Stanley Kubrick.

Cinefamily and the Chuck Jones Center for Creativity are hosting a Looney Tunes-a-Palooza today from 1-7 pm. That’s six hours of Bugs Bunny, Tweety, Sylvester, Elmer Fudd and other Chuck Jones and Warner Brothers creations plus a few behind-the-scenes footage, uncensored cartoons and odds and ends. The program is hosted by cartoon historian Jerry Beck. Tickets: $15, free for Cinefamily members.

Today at 4:20 pm, Nerdmelt hosts a special edition of The Benson Interruption. Comedian Doug Benson (Doug Loves Movies, Last Comic Standing) brings a few special guests who don't mind being interrupted while trying to tell their jokes. Tickets: $10.

Fall Out Boy’s lyricist and bassist Pete Wentz signs copies of his new novel, Gray, at 7 PM at Barnes & Noble at the Grove. The coming-of-age book is based on Wentz’s life experiences, both highs and lows, which he put to paper while on the road with FOB. Signing rules: This is a wristbanded event, which are only available with the purchase of the book. Personalization is not available, and photos are permitted from the signing line only. Leave the FOB posters at home—Wentz is only signing Gray.

It’s a School Night welcomes live music and DJ sets from both up-and-coming and seasoned artists every Monday night at Bardot in Hollywood. Performing live tonight are: K.Flay, Gavin Turek, Beach Party and Mika Ben-Yami. DJ sets by O-BE1 and Ando. Free with RSVP for those 21+; $10 for 18+ with RSVP. Doors at 8 pm.
