Miley Cyrus went incognito on an episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live to find out what the public really thinks of her, and at least one person thinks she's standing idly by while America crumbles. For some inexplicable reason, people have a lot of opinions when it comes to Miley Cyrus, ranging from ecstatic fandom to the vehement belief that she is some kind of Illuminati agent hellbent on destroying society.

Cyrus recently appeared as a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live ahead of the MTV Video Music Awards, which she'll be hosting downtown this weekend. During her interview with Kimmel, Cyrus wore a sparkly rainbow jacket over nothing but pink pasties. For her undercover segment, however, Cyrus dressed in a demure white blouse, and gray pencil skirt and jacket. Posing as Janet, an Australian reporter for 'I Witness News,' she took to the streets of Hollywood to ask passersby their opinions on Cyrus.

She learned that some people prefer Taylor Swift, others don't like her style and others just don't like her whole family.

"I think she's starving for attention and that's why she's doing it all crazy like that… she's missing something somewhere," a man in a white tank and a cowboy hat told her.

Cyrus responds, "In her heart probably, in her deep soul."

"The whole fabric of America's falling apart and she's not doing anything to keep it together," he later said.

There was also at least one guy whom she couldn't fool.

Cyrus isn't alone in pranking folks. Channing Tatum recently went undercover as a middle-aged marketing rep for a test screening of Magic Mike XXL, and Jewel once disguised herself as a timid business woman while singing her own songs at a Santa Monica karaoke bar.

You can watch Cyrus' interview with Kimmel below, during which she said, "I see a lot of people with their clothes on and they're assholes. And I don't know if it's the clothes that turn them into assholes. If you've got your tits out you can't really be an asshole. People are already judging you."

She also mentioned that you can get pasties likes hers right on Hollywood Boulevard, if you are so inclined.
