Ah, 1997... Conan O'Brien was at the helm of NBC's Late Night, with Max Weinberg and his band as his musical sidekick, and the Smashing Pumpkins were getting Grammy noms for their double album Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness.

These days, both O'Brien and the Pumpkins have moved on, embarked on other projects, and reorganized their personnel...for various reasons. But it's Weinberg we tip our hat to, today in our video lunch, on the drummer's 60th birthday, with this goofy clip from Late Night that has him sabotaging an appearance by the Pumpkins on the show.
