Mark Thompson Moves On from Mark & Brian Show at KLOS to Family-Focused Podcast

Before you

Mark Thompson--one half of the veteran radio show co-host duo Mark & Brian--has signed off from KLOS 95.5 for the last time. So what's next for the venerable radio man?

Thompson is turning to podcasting, and has a new co-host in the chair next to him: His wife, Lynda. The couple, who have been married 30 years, are launching the Mark and Lynda Podcast on Monday August 20, and the new broadcast has a family focus.

In an email describing the new endeavor, we're told the podcast is "a show involving his entire family aimed at helping relationship issues with humor and solid advice from a couple who has been there."

Thompson says the podcast is "the next big form of communication," and sees it as a way to feel connected to the hosts.
