Nothing says sexy time like The Captain and Tennille! The real-life couple and musical duo were a bit hit on the charts in the mid- to late 1970s--though they had not yet married when their song "Love Will Keep Us Together," was released, and started to ascend the ranks of the U.S. pop charts on this day in 1975.

Married by that November, Daryl "The Captain" Dragon and Toni Tennille have stayed married. Back in the 70s, the pair and their sweet love songs made marriage seem pretty darn lovely. For your video lunch today, The Captain and Tennille perform "Love Will Keep Us Together," at the Grammy Awards.
