Living in L.A. Has its Advantages

Our June member drive is live: protect this resource!
Right now, we need your help during our short June member drive to keep the local news you read here every day going. This has been a challenging year, but with your help, we can get one step closer to closing our budget gap. Today, put a dollar value on the trustworthy reporting you rely on all year long. We can't hold those in power accountable and uplift voices from the community without your partnership.

Every week, we bring you seven reasons to love Los Angeles, and today's video is just one more.

Angelenos spoiled when it comes to music, as evident by the plethora of music going on every single night in the city. Add to that the magical moments when your favorite local musician brings up a "friend," who happens to be your favorite big name singer. That's what happened last night when Butch Walker brought up Pink at Hotel Cafe, where other big name artists like John Mayer have popped up in the past.

Thank you, L.A., thank you.
