Arizona Diamondbacks defeat LA Dodgers 10-5. The Dodgers need to rely on their pitching because they are not a great offensive club. When the pitching goes south, so goes the Dodgers. Monday night Esteban Loaiza had a bad outing. Tonight it was Chad Billingsley's turn. 2 2/3 innings, five runs and five hits just will not cut it. Oh, and odds are we won't see another hit from Andruw Jones until July.

Portland Trailblazers defeat LA Lakers 112-103. The Lakers always have a rough time at the Rose Garden, and last night was no exception. The Lakers cut their deficit down to six points in the third quarter only to see the Blazers start triple-teaming Kobe Bryant.

Cleveland Indians defeat LA Angels 4-3. Yet again the Angels blow a lead in the top of the ninth. However this time there was no heroics. Justin Speier came in to save the game for the Angels due to an injury to Frankie Rodriguez and gave up a two-run homer to Travis Hafner. No halo tonight.
