Tuesday 1/20

Jim Woods, Comedy Central State 8p. Some seriously embarrassing moments from the life of awesomely funny Jim Woods, inviting you to laugh at him because...well, it’s not you.

CDR Sketch, UCB 11p. The insanely awesome Comedy Death Ray stand up show at UCB takes on late night sketch, starring Paul Scheer, Nick Kroll and Good Neighbor. Go early to see Odenkirk and Dana Gould at regular CDR at 8:30, too.

Wednesday 1/21

Punk House, Westside Eclectic 9p. A good-and-bad mix of stand up comics from around LA. If you’re willing to be patient, laugh, and deal with the weird on occasion, you’ll probably like this show.

Local 132, iO 8p. These guys just keep getting better. Come check some long-form improv, or see the new bar if you haven’t been in since in the crash. RIP - never forget.

Thursday 1/22

Sit N’ Spin, Comedy Central Stage 8p. Music and true-ish tales collide in this great stage show, with Matt Price from the popular podcast Guys With Feelings.
