Kid Who Played Mini Darth Vader in Super Bowl Ad Is Having His 8th Heart Surgery Today
Young Max Page, who donned a mini Darth Vader costume and mask for a popular 2011 Volkswagen commercial that aired during the Super Bowl, will undergo his eighth heart surgery today in Los Angeles.
The 7-year-old actor, who also appears regularly on "The Young & the Restless," and had a role on "Prime Suspect" was diagnosed with a congenital heart defect at 3 months old, according to CBS2.
Many thought that the youngster dressed as little Darth Vader was actually a girl.
Page's surgery today at Children's Hospital Los Angeles will replace a heart valve.
