Singing superstar Justin Bieber is fanning the already raging flames surrounding casting and the next "Batman" movie after he posted a photo of the film's script with his name on it.

The script, with an August 30 revise date, indicates it's for "Batman Vs. Superman," the movie in which Ben Affleck will play the brooding superhero of Gotham City. So we know who's going to play Batman, and we know Henry Cavill has been cast as Superman. So what's Bieber got to do with it?

"Bieber posted a little message accompanying the picture: #robin?" points out The Daily Beast. Ohhhhh, reallllllllly? Well, that would certainly make for an interesting buddy pairing.

Of course, Bieber could just be (high and) yanking our chain about being up for the role of Dick Grayson, aka Robin. Since the internet seems especially full of hoaxes these days (leaving fewer pop culture wrongs to blame on Bieber's peer, Miley Cyrus), this could just be the Biebs messing around.

Or not. So far over 800,000 Instagrammers have "liked" the "Batman" script pic.
