Jerry Seinfeld And Patton Oswalt Hang Out Downtown, Ride a Sweet Delorean
It already makes us giddy to hear Jerry Seinfeld and Patton Oswalt chatting it up like old BFFs, but the fact that they're riding a Delorean through L.A. makes it all the much better.
In the latest Season 3 episode of Seinfeld's web series, Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee, he shoots the shit with Oswalt about Superman, baseball, and hipsters in L.A. They seem buddy-buddy, after all, as Seinfeld points out, Oswalt got his first acting gig on Seinfeld in the 1990s.
Just look at the young Oswalt on the show:
Oswalt even cracks a joke about what would happen if they were to drive over 88 mph in the silver Delorean popularized by the Back to the Future franchise. However, just a few moments after driving it, the car breaks down and Oswalt offers to use Uber:
But not all is lost, as they get into another car that takes them to Handsome Coffee Roasters in downtown, in which Oswalt describes their cup of joe as "the most perfect coffee."
He also gives Seinfeld the rundown of being a downtown resident, which includes carrying a WWI British messenger bag for your laptop and wearing comfortable white sneakers and subdued-colored clothing. The brighter colors are left to the commissioned graffiti art Angelenos put in their homes, Oswalt quips.
