GET INTO HANNUKAH*, LOUNGE STYLE
Celebrate the first of eight nights of lights with some tacos and music--because "Fried food and Hanuka go hand in hand!" It's A Lounge Singer Hanuka with special guest David De La Paz, featuring Paula Horowitz, happening for free tonight ($1.50 fish tacos & $2 shrimp tacos and donation bar) at 5 p.m. at Best Fish Taco in Ensenada (which is actually in Los Feliz). No RSVP necessary, and the show is be family friendly, but may (briefly) touch on mature subjects. (*So many ways to spell it!)

GET UNSILENT
So basically a bunch of people gather in a public space (Pan-Pacific Regional Park @7600 Beverly Blvd) and pick up their reserved CD, cassette, or mp3, and at 7 p.m. a parade hits the streets carrying the collective sounds everyone is sporting--it's Unsilent Night. Of course, you can also just head down to hear the sounds of Unsilence, too! They'll be taking voluntary $1 donations for the LA Regional Food Bank. GET A LOAD OF SOME JUST-GRADUATED DJs
Today is the Scratch DJ Academy Graduation. From Noon to 4 p.m. you can help celebrate the schools' latest inductees into the community of DJ's. Graduation also doubles as an open house for any people interested in getting more information on Scratch DJ Academy. Totally free, with complimentary food and drinks, a free DJ class from Noon to 1, followed by the graduation ceremony. RSVP with val@scratch.com.
