Last weekend, DesignerCon 2011 took over the Pasadena Convention Center for the 6th annual art and design convention that brings together collectible toys, designer apparel, and urban and pop art. People were eager to get an early start on toy exclusives, get art signed by some of their favorite designers or like us—there to take in some great eye candy.

Featured artists at DesignerCon included Scott Tolleson, Ragnar, Brandt Peters, Kathie Olivas, Doktor A, Chris Ryniak, Neil Winn, Mr. Toast, Christopher Lee, Steve Talkowski, Gustavo, Sucklord, Tracy Tubera, A Little Stranger, DrilOne, Leecifer, Evilos, Nathan Hamill, Amada Louise Spayd, Rick Garcia, Mister Miller, Paul Wilson, Casey Hirai, Nebulon5, Ekotyper, Josh "f+" Pearce, Joshua Ellingson, Troy Stith, Yosiell Lorenzo, Vanessa Ramirez, B.A.L.D., Ardabus Rubber, Paul Kaiju, Jester. There was also an amazing Lego art show with original creations curated by Brandon Griffith.

We have to admit, though, that we couldn't escape the convention center without buying a few items ourselves. How could you not? We left with a couple of Uglydolls, Mr. Toast comic books and a few blind boxes.
