This weekend downtown plays host to a body painting competition by the fetish party-throwing drag duo The Boulet Brothers. The event Body Fine Art is being held at The Springs, the Art District's one-stop shop for juicing, colonics, yoga and sound healing. The theme is "Sacred Body." There will be a body painting and photography competition judged by KCRW's Jason Bentley, Craig Tracy, Alex Barendregt and Filippo Ioco.

You can check out the artists' workstations up close or you can get your own body or face painted. There will be music, dancing and a competitive catwalk, according to the Downtown News.

The event kicks off Saturday night at 7 p.m., though VIP ticketholders can get in at 4 p.m. The event will be raging until 2 a.m. Tickets are $25 if you buy them now, $35 at the door and $50 for VIPs. The Springs is located at 608 Mateo Street in the Arts District.
