Photos: Adorable Surfing Dogs Set Three World Records
Some sporting pooches were hangin' ten 20 18 this weekend in San Diego for the 7th Annual Loews Coronado Bay Resort Surf Dog Competition.
Not only did the dogs take to their surfboards like water, they managed to set three Guinness World Records in addition to competing in a series of heats.
The event, which is a fundraiser for the ASPCA, will go in the record book for the following, according to Imperial Beach Patch:
Most amount of dogs surfing on one board at one time (more than 10 dogs).
Most amount of dogs surfing on one board at one time (more than 10 dogs) with a human (Scott Chandler).
Most amount of dogs surfing on one board at one time (more than 10 dogs) with two humans (Scott and Tyler Chandler).
And which four-legged surfers were tops at shooting the curl? Patch also posted the results:
Heat 1: A competition for small dogs, the winner is Australian Kelpie Abbie Girl.
Heat 2: A competition for large dogs, the winner is Golden Retriever and ASPCA Dog of the Year Ricochet.
Heat 3: A tandem competition, the winners are Zoey, a Jack Russell Terrier and his owners Scott and Tyler Chandler.
