A California man visiting San Francisco to attend a Giants baseball game has been found dead in the Bay. 27-year-old Victor Murillo of Vacaville had been reported as missing since June 25, when he'd last been seen with a friend in the parking lot of the Embarcadero. From SFist:

Murillo was last seen on Piers 30-32, where he and a friend were walking back to their car just before 11 p.m. The friend had been composing a text message when he looked up and noticed Murillo was no longer with him. The friend believes Murillo fell in to the water that night, but a search by SFPD, SFFD and a Coast Guard helicopter turned up nothing by [the afternoon of Tuesday June 26].

Relatives of Murillo--a prison guard and SoCal native who lived in Yolo County--had not given up hope, and had been searching the area for their beloved family member wearing Dodger blue.

"A passer-by spotted a body in the water on Wednesday morning just blocks from where he disappeared," according to KTLA. The body was identified as being that of Murillo.
