Gird Your Loins: 'Dodgeball' Is Getting A Sequel
There's no such thing as too much watching Vince Vaughn and Ben Stiller be smacked in the face with balls, and as such, Fox has greenlighted the script for a sequel to the 2004 movie "Dodgeball."
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Clay Tarver has been tapped to write the script. Tarver wrote "Joy Ride" in 2001 and directed several episodes of the "Upright Citizens Brigade" TV series in the late 1990's.
Not too much is known about the "Dodgeball" sequel, although the Reporter notes that it will feature "Vaughn and Stiller forced to team up to fight an even bigger threat."
