Don't hate Courtney Stodden because she's beautiful -- that's the message that the one-time child bride's mother has for the public.

In an interview with The Huffington Post, Krista Stodden, who allowed Courtney to marry then-52-year-old Doug Hutchison last year when Courtney was just 16, told the news site that haters be hatin' on Courtney because she's so dang pretty:

“She’s a victim of her own beauty. We need to understand all kinds of discrimination. It’s very sad.”

It is. So sad. But not quite as sad as the fact that Krista went on to compare her offspring to “Anna Nicole Smith, without the drugs.”

Krista added, somewhat nonsensically, that Courtney takes after the legendary beauties of the silver screen:

“Everyone wants to be like Marilyn Monroe, but with Courtney the beauty comes from within -- like Pam Anderson and Farrah Fawcett.”
