Breaking Dodger News: Clayton Kershaw to Pitch Sunday

20-year old left-handed pitcher Clayton Kershaw will be brought up from AA Jacksonville Suns to be the starting pitcher for Sunday's game against the St. Louis Cardinals.
While rumors have been running wild all spring and the first couple months so far of the season of when he would be called up, the time has come.
Kershaw throws a fastball in the 90s and a curveball that absolutely kills the batters. It is that curveball that wowed everyone in the baseball world in the spring. His called strike three pitch to the Red Sox' Sean Casey was a YouTube phenomenon this spring (and has since been taken down unfortunately).
The first-round draft pick in 2006 by the Dodgers, Kershaw has been used sparingly in Jacksonville in anticipation of his call up to the major leagues. Although he has an 0-3 record in Jacksonville, he has a 2.28 ERA, 9.76 strikeouts, 3.12 walks and 6.65 hits per nine innings with the opposition batting .208 against him.
