Bayou Fest Long Beach Second Line
This is a Quicktime video of the second-line parade at last weekend's Bayou Festival in Long Beach. I was kind of taken aback by the 30-dollar entrance fee. They did not have as many booths or food vendors as in previous years. But they did have first-rate performers, including CJ Chenier and Geno Delafose. And this was one hell of a second-line. Thank goodness we finally have a kick-ass brass band in Los Angeles!
