Anchorman director and co-writer Adam MacKay wants to bring you a family film following Ron Burgundy's dog Baxter and a yet-to-be-introduced character, who appears in the trailers for Anchorman 2.

According to Collider (spoilers inside, be warned), the film will be rated G or PG:

"I want to know more about what [Baxter]’s doing when he’s not around them. I want to shoot a whole adventure. Maybe you guys can help with this, we actually talked about the idea of doing The Adventures…I actually pitched it to Adam Goodman at Paramount and he said, "That’s not a bad idea." So there’s a chance we might be doing a Milo and Otis, G-rated, PG… which would be amazing."

As the wise Ron Burgundy once said, "Oh, Baxter, you are my little gentleman. I'll take you to foggy London town 'cause you are my little gentleman."
