Photos: Alyssa Milano Will Personally Pick You Up To Early Vote If You Live In Georgia's 6th District
Georgia's 6th Congressional District—which has been represented by a Republican since 1979—is currently up for grabs, and Democrats from across the country have been working to try and swing it blue. The seat, which will be filled in a special election on April 18, was vacated after former Congressman Tom Price was sworn in as Secretary of Health and Human Services in February. Now, former Charmed star and current Twitter voice of reason Alyssa Milano has joined the hordes filing into the Atlanta suburbs ahead of the election, and she will PERSONALLY come over and pick you up if you want to early vote.
At least 18 candidates are running for the seat, but young Democratic congressional candidate Jon Ossoff has galvanized support from the left, with celebrity endorsements, national money, and even a short New Yorker profile.
Milano has become a serious force on liberal social media, tweeting out news clips and activist updates to her three million-plus followers. She's also been a vocal supporter of Ossoff and his attempt to #flipthe6th, so it shouldn't come as a surprise that when she and fellow actor Christopher Gorham decided they wanted to drive early voters to the polls, the pair took to Twitter Monday to make the announcement.

“I think people are shocked and happy to see us at their doorstep, but I also think they understand how passionate we are about gaining this seat once we show up and ring the bell,” Milano told Huffington Post.
Milano and Gorham are in town shooting the pilot Insatiable, and so they say they have a vested interest in what happens in the district. “If our pilot is picked up and we shoot here permanently, the 6th is an area I’m considering moving my family to,” Milano told Huffington Post.
On Monday (the first day of early voting in the 6th), Gorham and Milano also live-tweeted some of their pickups.
Here they are on their way to pick up someone named Yvette.
