The Master of Suspense celebrates his would-be birthday today and to honor the prince of psychological thrillers and the granddaddy of twist endings, today's video lunch is a delectable cornucopia of Alfred Hitchcock's legendary cameo appearances.
A successful British filmmaker, Hitchcock moved to Hollywood during the end of the 1930s when producer David O. Selznick signed him to a seven-year contract. Hitchcock died in 1980 at the age of 80 at him home in Bel Air. His cremated ashes were scattered across the Pacific Ocean.
