62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards Nominations Announced: Big Nods to Freshman Series 'Glee,' HBO's 'The Pacific,' and the Drama of 'Mad Men'

It's a big day for television favorites like Fox's Glee and AMC's Mad Men, as the 62nd Annual Primetime Emmy Awards nominations were announced here in Los Angeles.

But the leader of the pack is HBO's WWII miniseries The Pacific, which garnered 24 nominations, including Best Miniseries. Musical comedy sensation Glee, in its debut season, netted 19 nominations, and the vintage chic cool of Mad Men's third season drew 17 nods from the Academy.
