View Community Parade in a larger map
The annual Echo Park Community Parade is scheduled to take place today. The parade begins at Noon at Elysian Park and W Sunset Blvd and travels west to Park Avenue. The festivities are due to last until 3 p.m. and if you're planning on being in the area you can expect street closures and possibly some traffic delays. This year's parade theme is "Peace and Goodwill." (A suggested sub-theme might be "Wear boots & Bring an Umbrella." Ahem.)
