Election season is in the air, and now the real fun -- trash talking, negative campaigning, more walking backwards in TV spots, etc. -- begins in earnest. But LAist stumbled upon this funny and semi-educational site, courtesy of Phil Angelides'campaign. (He's the Democrat running against the gubernator next month, in case you didn't know the name.)

The Bush Buddies site (www.bsbuddies.com) allows users to design their very own "Bush Buddy Arnold" -- selecting wardrobe, accessories and sayings -- to match the different facets (or is that shifting positions?) of Schwarzenegger, including the:

- *Too Cool for School Arnold* - *Actually raises tuition and fees!*
- *Special Interest Arnold* - *Featuring money bag accessories!*
- *Too Healthy to Care Arnold* - *Kicks nurses' butts!*

We chose the third option (see above) with a Conan "This Doesn't Really Fit Me Anymore" the Barbarian outfit and a "Who told you, you could eat my cookies?" soundbyte.

All that's missing from the site is a gubernatorial groping option...
