It's early in 2013, but we think it's safe to say we have a real contender for Father of the Year.

Santos Barrillo, 24, was arrested Friday night after allegedly leaving his baby daughter in his truck while he got blitzed at Club 7557 in Van Nuys, according to KTLA. He was arrested on suspicion of charges including child endangerment.

A passer-by called police to report that they saw Barrillo drunkenly slumped over the wheel of his truck with a little girl in the backseat. Police arrived on the scene just after midnight to find Barrillo and his daughter shivering in the truck which was only 45 degrees inside. Police interviewed patrons to find out that Barrillo had been in the bikini bar without his daughter that night.

The little girl was taken into the custody of the Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services, but she was later turned over to her mother, who is also Barrillo's fiancée. (KTLA also offered us words of wisdom from one of Barrillo's neighbors: "I would never do that to my kids!")
