Video: Catering Truck Robbed at Gunpoint

That's a pretty terrifying video and LAPD detectives have released it because they need the public's help in identifying the three suspects involved. The video is from August 13th at around 2:35 a.m. when the truck was parked near Avalon Boulevard and Gage Avenue in South LA.

The workers were preparing to close for the night as a cusotmer was outside. One of the three suspects forced his way into the truck with a handgun and demanded money A second suspect entered and robbed each of the employees. Outside, a third suspect, forced a customer inside. No one was hurt all the victims complied with orders. Still, the suspects kicked one of the victims in the head has he laid on the ground.

After-hours or on weekends, calls may be directed to a 24-hour, toll-free number at 1-877-LAPD-24-7 or by texting CRIMES (274637) and beginning the message with the letters LAPD. Tipsters may also submit information on the LAPD website, www.lapdonline.org. All tips will remain anonymous.
