Just hours after city officials announced a major overall crime reduction in the Hollywood entertainment corridor, a suspect went on a homeless stabbing spree that left two dead and one injured. The victims were in their 40s and 50s. It started around 1:30 p.m. and continued to 4:40 p.m. when Damian Durado, 54, was arrested shortly after and suspected of all three incidents. Police are scratching their heads over a motive.
