Purse with $100,000 in Cash Snatched by Robbers

Police are hoping the public can help them in a January purse snatching that scored two suspects $100,000 in cash. The incident happened around 5 p.m. on January 14th when the victim returned to her business from the bank. Earlier she had withdrawn the large amount at the Bank of America at 3320 West Olympic Boulevard (at Western) where police believe the suspects may have observed her withdraw the moneyPolice did not say why she withdrew so much money.
When she stepped out of her vehicle in the business' parking garage on the 1500 block of West Olympic Boulevard (near the 110 Freeway), one of the men approached her and tried to grab the purse. She resisted, but eventually lost (and without being harmed). The two, both described as African Americans, escaped in a blue four-door sedan, possibly described as a Dodge Intrepid.
The first suspect is 25 to 28 years old, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs between 170 and 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, blue pants and black shoes.
The second suspect is 23 to 27 years old, between 5 feet 8 and 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs between 190 and 200 pounds. He has a goatee and was last seen wearing a black and grey knit cap, white T-shirt, blue jeans and dark shoes with white soles.
