Police Need Help Finding this Man for Sexual Assault in Hollywood, K-Town
The LAPD has released images of this man who they say sexually assaulted one 13-year-old and another teenager earlier this month. In both cases, he fondled the women over their clothes, possibly touching their genitalia while attempting to take off their clothes. Fortunately, both victims were able to escape.
The first incident took place on the 6400 block of Sunset Blvd. near Vine on November 7th at 10:00 a.m. The block is busy with CNN, the Los Angeles Film School, Borders and restaurants nearby. "The suspect followed a 13-year-old juvenile female victim into a stairwell and sexually battered her" before leaving on foot, an LAPD statement said.
A sexual battery is a type of assault that involves unwanted touching and fondling.
The second assault was a few days later on November 11 around 6:30 p.m. on the 500 block of South Hobart, a few blocks north of Wilshire Blvd. He followed a 19-year-old woman into her apartment building where he confronted her, took her money, forced her into a staircase and then assaulted her before she got away.
The suspect is described as a male Hispanic, approximately 5’09” tall with heavy build and between 25 and 30 years old.
