An altercation following a concert last night left one LAPD officer and a suspect injured last night in Hollywood. Two off-duty Los Angeles Police Department officers had been in attendance at the "A Day to Remember" show at the Palladium, where at least one of the officers was working security at the event, according to MyFoxLA. When the show let out, they were confronted by a man with a knife, explains ABC7.

One of the officers drew his weapon and ordered the concert-goer to drop his knife. However, the suspect stabbed the officer in the hand, and the officer opened fire, shooting the suspect in the back.

Both were taken to the hospital and treated for their injuries. The suspect is in custody, and both a criminal and an administrative investigation are ongoing.
