The City and County of Los Angeles is offering $55,000 in reward for information leading to the "identification, apprehension, and conviction of the person or persons responsible for the death of" Ila Ali Packman, murdered June 24th inside a Hollywood Marijuana clinic, the LAPD have announced. The LAPD say that as of now, "no one has come forward with any information that would assist in developing leads in this murder investigation." In order to perhaps entice someone to come forward, Los Angeles Council President Eric Garcetti and Los Angeles County Board of Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky sought approval to issue the reward.

Packman was found inside the dispensary on the 1600 block of North El Centro Avenue, having suffered multiple stab wounds during the course of a violent heist that netted the suspect or suspects "about $3000 worth of marijuana and the closed-circuit recording equipment."
