All that led to a formation of a stronger neighborhood watch that informs that a robbery involving four people with a sawed off shotgun.

In short, a man visiting a friend was forced to the ground by two males who took his possessions while another male served as a lookout and a female waited in a car. A X-Zero (said ten-zero) Officer hired by the nearby Village Idiot restaurant was on his way back from escorting an employee to her car when he noticed the crime in progress at Waring and Fuller:

When in route back to the Melrose patrol area, the Bike Officer came upon the crime in progress. The officer approached the scene without being observed by the two attackers and swiftly confronted the third man acting as a lookout. The Ten-Zero officer immediately made contact with a Police patrol unit, which was in the area of the crime. The Ten-Zero officer was able to come to the aid of the victim yelling for help and give valuable observations to the Police. Multiple Police units were called to the scene as well including a helicopter and a K9 unit. One suspect was apprehended by police and a dozen square residential blocks were blocked off and searched by the police in an attempt to find the other two suspects. A sawed-off shotgun and clothing used in the robbery was recovered by Police at the scene. Additionally, all of the victim's valuables were recovered and there have been no reports of injury.
