A cat managed to make a daring escape from a raging apartment inferno in Las Vegas last week.
We'd like to believe that the cat was encouraged by the crowd below, because that's what it looks like in the video above captured by a local CBS affiliate in Vegas. But this is a cat we're talking about here, and it looks like the cat's only other option was to perish in the fire. We're glad this particular part of the saga ended well.
No residents lost their lives, but three residents and one battalion chief were injured in the devastating fire. Unfortunately, we're sad to say that one dog in the apartment complex didn't make it out alive.
